Keeping your files on remote servers instead of your own computer. A drive only stores them. Clivio also reads each file, summarizes it and files it, so you can find it later by typing what you’re looking for. You get 500 MB of storage on the Free plan and 10 GB on Pro.

A drive like Google Drive or Dropbox keeps your files where you put them, under the name you gave them, and finding one later depends on remembering that name. Clivio stores files too, but reads each one as it arrives: it knows a PDF is a lease, sums it up and offers to track its deadlines. So you can search for “insurance this year” instead of digging through folders.
If your papers already live in Google Drive or Dropbox, you can import them, with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides converted along the way. It’s a one-time import, with no sync afterward.
How much space, and where
The Free plan includes 500 MB of storage and up to 50 documents; Pro gives you 10 GB and up to 1,000 documents, with each file up to 25 MB. Files are stored on Google Cloud in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest. Part of the processing, such as server functions and the AI analysis, happens in the United States. You can download a ZIP archive of all your files and data from Settings › My data whenever you like.
Storing isn’t archiving
Keeping an invoice in a drive or a mailbox is filing a file, not archiving it in the legal sense. Nothing stops the file from being edited or replaced without a trace, which is exactly what a tax audit wants to rule out. Frequently asked questions
Does Clivio sync with Google Drive?
No. You pick the files to import from Google Drive or Dropbox, and a change you make later in Drive isn’t carried over to Clivio.
Where are my files stored?
On Google Cloud, in the European Union. Part of the processing, including the AI analysis through the Google Gemini API, happens in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
